Ty is absolutely one of my favorite photographers to collaborate. He’s kind, professional and creative, and takes each and every project to the next-level, always exceeding my expectations. But beyond his photography, he is an amazing human being. His work ethic is second to none! His ideas are brilliant, and he makes every image completely his own. I don’t know exactly how to describe it, but I’m never just a model on the other side of the camera. Ty makes you part of a creative team as he's open to other ideas, opinions and suggestions. It’s the perfection of his work that inspires me the most; he doesn’t quit until he’s 100% satisfied with the product. I have had the great pleasure of working with Ty Chee on numerous artistic occasions. Ty has been my number one go-to photographer for years. In my projects, he has created wonderful still photographs, stunning live action concert photos as well as being director of photography for multi camera music videos and very complicated (eleven camera) concert videos. He has a wonderful eye and is always a joy to have on the set. I am only hesitant to give Ty the glowing review he so deserves because I am scared he will be too busy to work with me again!
